Hemp shampoo is made from Hemp Seed Oil (not the stuff that has the THC in it).  Hemp Seed Oil is extracted from the seeds of the Cannabis Sativa (Hemp) plant. Hemp seeds are rich in polyunsaturated omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, in what some experts call the perfect ratio. This may contribute to the many potential health benefits that people attribute to this magic oil. Hemp seed oil could benefit your hair in the following ways:

Directions- 

1. Completely saturate your hair with warm, not hot, water.

2. Squirt a small amount of shampoo into the palm of your hand.

3. Apply it to your scalp and massage until it lathers.

4. Work the shampoo through your hair, but pay the most attention to the scalp.

5. Rinse your hair and scalp completely and repeat the process to wash out any residue

For this reason, you may find that while you wash your hair, the lather is not quite like your standard shampoos (you know the ones with added chemical nasties) This does not mean it is not doing a great job of washing your locks 😉
