Welcome to GROUNDED GATHERINGS our Nature inspired program.

We are offering a day filled with nature and creativity!!

EVERY MONDAY during School term  

9:30am to 11am PLAYGROUP all ages welcome

9:30am to 2:30pm DROP OFF SERVICE 3yrs to 12yrs

PLAYGROUP 9:30am- 11:00am - Come along with your little ones and immerse in nature, gathering materials and creating some art together. Its a morning of CONNECTION

DROP OFF SERVICE 9:30am - 2:30pm- In this program, we will explore the wonders of nature through various art and craft activities inspired by the concept of bush school. Get ready for a fun-filled adventure that combines outdoor exploration, creativity, and grounding/self regulating techniques.

Empower your child with this unique and enriching experience that combines the wonders of nature with the therapeutic benefits of art and craft. In this carefully designed program, we aim to provide a safe and nurturing space for children to explore their creativity, develop self-regulating techniques, build friendships, and create stunning art using natural materials.

🌱 Gain Confidence: Through engaging in hands-on artistic activities in a natural environment, children will boost their confidence as they discover their unique abilities and talents. We will support and  encourage self-expression, celebrating each child's individual growth and achievements.

🌀 Self-Regulating Techniques: We understand that children may face various challenges in their daily lives. Our program incorporates mindfulness and relaxation techniques, allowing children to learn effective self-regulation strategies. This will empower them to manage emotions, reduce stress, and improve focus, promoting emotional well-being and resilience.

🌻 Gain Friendships: Our holistic nature art and craft program foster a sense of community and camaraderie among participants. Through collaborative projects and group activities, children will have the opportunity to form new friendships, learn the importance of teamwork, and embrace the spirit of nature around us.

who are we & What Are We About? 

Miranda and Tracy are the founders of GROUNDED GATHERINGS, we are dedicated to providing learning experiences through nature which can also be incorporated into your planning/program for your home educating children.
Here are some reasons why you should choose us as your support community through your homeschooling journey:

Years of Experience: With over 30 years of combined experience working with children, educating, and nurturing, we have the knowledge and expertise to create enriching learning experiences.

• Passionate about Nature Learning: We have a strong passion for nature learning and believe in its transformative power. We are committed to fostering a deep connection between children and the natural world.

• Holistic Approach: Tracy, a homeschooling mum with 20+ years educating children aged 0 to 12yrs including running one of the first Nature outdoor loose parts family daycares on the Gold Coast many years ago! Now a business owner who brings her expertise in holistic living and learning to our programs. We believe in nurturing the whole child - mind, body, and spirit - through our nature-based activities.

• Reiki Mastery: Miranda, a holistic educator with Reiki mastery, brings an additional dimension to our programs. We incorporate energy/vibrational self regulating techniques to promote well-being and balance in children's lives. Miranda is trained in bush kindy and is a valuable nature Educator. 

In this program, children will have the opportunity to connect with nature, express their creativity, and learn relaxation techniques through various engaging activities with no devices in sight!!! (Except us taking photos of their learning experiences 😉)

Throughout the program, safety guidelines and respect for the environment will be emphasized.

What to Bring: • Lunch, snacks and plenty of water

• Hat, sunscreen and bug repellent

• Long lightweight pants (to minimise the risk of bites and scratches)

• Long sleeved top? rashy or t-shirt - dress to weather conditions (no singlets)

• Closed in shoes (compulsary when using hand tools and playing in the creek)

• Spare change of clothes (or two) and wet bag to put wet clothes in

• Rain gear: jacket, pants and gumboots (if wet weather is expected)

Monday's 9:30am - 2 :30pm

Location- 109 petsch creek road, Tallebudgera Valley

This is a DROP & GO service so that mums and dads can catch up on some work or simply have a break! 

we are Qualified educators with approved working with childrens Blue cards and FIRST AID TRAINED.
